In further banking news, the Financial Times reports that the World Bank/IMF have admitted that their debt-relief plan for the poorest countries is a failure:
Falling commodity prices have pushed several of the highly indebted countries, which are heavily dependent on agricultural exports, off track in hitting debt-to-export targets.
So explain to me why, exactly, food needs to be cheaper?
