How's that coffee?
Federal police and government inspectors in the past two weeks freed about 1,000 slave workers from two farms in northeastern Brazil, media reports said Saturday.... Brazil's government in June said it freed 450 people working in conditions of slavery in the Amazon state of Rondonia. The Brazilian government estimates some 25,000 people work in slavery conditions in Brazil, most of them in remote Amazon areas.
